Weeks 2 and 3 at Daytime Moon!

Hi, Today’s videos are from the last two weeks. They show more games. These games are different because the students are working as a team.

The first game is Alien Friends, where the two students pretend to be aliens. They walk in any movement, greet each other and do a alien dance move. This video is of Teddy and Karen. I think it’s funny when they greet each other and doing their dance moves.

The next game I want to show you is My Imaginary Place. My Imaginary Place is like My Favorite Place from the first class. The group selects a place and takes the class on a tour with 3 stops.

For Teddy, Jake, and Karen, the place was the magical kingdom. The three animals were the Unicorn, dragon and elephant. I think this video was cool. If I were in the magical kingdom I would pick the chimpanzee that could fly.

Those two videos were from class two weeks ago. Last Saturday, the group did more team games, but also starting making up characters.

This game is The Machine game. It’s when the group works together to be a part of a machine. In this video Nicholas, Sarah and Karen act as parts of an imaginary machine. The rest of the group guesses possible what it could be. Somebody in the group guesses a music box, but I guessed it was a candy machine.

The next game is Group Photo. In Group Photo, the teachers pick a setting for the students. The students work together to make a pretend photo and rest of the group guess where they are. In this video, the photo is of passengers waiting for the train. There are two groups standing on the platform. One of the groups is greeting each other and the other is checking what time it is and if the train is coming. The last was the train and the train conductor.

This game is Mimic photo. Mimic photo is like Group Photo, but reverse. In Mimic Photo, the teachers give the group a picture. The students will have to write a scene based on the photo they have.  The students had to look at the background to figure out the setting. They also had to look at face emotions and body movement.

In this video, Teddy and Christine wrote a scene about a man meeting his idol with more fans in the background. I think this video was really cool because of scene that they present.

This was the original photo that the teachers gave Teddy and Christine. It’s pretty cool that they wrote this scene from a picture.

See you guys next week!
