who's blogging?

Get to know the awesome people contributing to Daytime Moon's blog!!

Emily is a senior in NYU's Applied Psychology Program and just joined the Daytime Moon staff after interning for a year and a half. She's pretty fantastic.

Jake is a graduate of the Cooke Center Academy SKILLS Program and was a Daytime Moon intern and actor during the 2011-12 school year. He's passionate about making films, telling stories, and helping others. He blogged, under "Performer Blogging," about creating "Out of the Box" and "Welcome To Camp."

Jareth is a student at Cooke Center Academy and is an intern with Daytime Moon. This is Jareth's first semester with Daytime Moon and his blogs, viewable under "Performer Blogging," are about the fall play with the SKILLS Program. Jareth likes computers, TV, and hanging out with friends. He has previously worked backstage on CCA's school play, helping in rehearsals and running the curtain for the performances of "Peter Pan." If Jareth could have any superpower, he'd want to be able to fly.

Jenna is the Executive Director and Program Director for Daytime Moon. She blogs about the programs she teaches, exciting new updates within Daytime Moon, and the importance of the arts in developing students' self-confidence, expression, and social skills. Outside of Daytime Moon, Jenna likes to read, travel, and dance in grocery store aisles. If she were a cupcake, she'd be red velvet with cream cheese frosting.

Megan is a student at Cooke Center Academy and an intern with Daytime Moon. She's sixteen years old and loves to shop, hang out with friends, and play video games. She's a fashionista and is super excited to be working on the blog!

Michelle is the Program Assistant at Daytime Moon, and directed her first Daytime Moon program and production in the Fall of 2012, with CCA SKILLS and "Welcome to THE Show." She also taught a summer Dance workshop and blogged about the neurological effects of dance (aka Why Your Brain Likes Dancing).  Michelle loves tap dancing, creating special FX makeup, and painting the town blue and white (DMC's brand colors, obviously). If Michelle were a candy bar, she'd be a Reese's. But if she lived in space, she'd switch to a galaxy bar.
