The Inside Scoop on the CCA SKILLs Performance, The Stolen Jewels of Paris, Opening December 5th!

Hi everyone! I cannot believe that we've had our last rehearsal at Cooke and that in a week and a half, we will present "The Stolen Jewels of Paris" to all these hardworking actors' families, friends, and teachers! It has been such an honor for me to come back and teach these multitalented individuals. With our biggest group yet, we had the big challenge of creating some sort of world within a play that would include every diverse interest in the room. Through exercises, activities, and incredibly hard (but fun!) work, we were able to write a script that allows each actor to shine.

Interview Question: What was the hardest part of working on the play?

Interview Question: What was your favorite part of working on the show?

It means so much to me to be able to teach at Cooke. Some of my students are returning for their fourth time - as many times as Daytime Moon has been there - while some are newbies. On the day of the show, however, you will assume we've known each other for years and years - such is the rapport we've built and the hilarity and joy we share. It's truly awesome to watch their hard work pay off, but the biggest reward for me is the support they show each other, and the dedication they pour into their work, their fellow actors, their teachers, and to themselves.

Enjoy our trailer, promotional interviews, and we'll see you at the show on December 5th, at the Peoples Improv Theater, at 3:45pm!
