Hello Hello!
Well, it’s been a while since our last update, but SO MUCH has been going on at Daytime Moon!
Our program kicked off on October 16th, and we’ve got a great group
of kids. You’ll get to meet them soon when we update the “Our Stars”
page on the site, but suffice it to say we’ve got singers, we’ve got
dancers and we’ve got instrumentalists. It’s a VERY musical group.
We are also thrilled to welcome our professional playwright. Though
she was introduced over Twitter a few weeks ago, allow me to give her a
proper introduction. Arielle Hader is an unbelievable actor, playwright,
and musician. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she’s so
excited to be joining our ranks. Guitar in hand, Ari has been helping us
to introduce our participants to songs about polar bears, has found
eager collaborators in the creation of the Daytime Moon Jingle, and is
already well on her way to creating a great play for our final
performance.
